Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: November 1, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Arts and Crafts store at artsandcrafts.dev, including client accounts, saved carts, purchases made directly from us, and staff catalog tools. “Arts and Crafts,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the store operator. For customer service, returns, or questions about these terms, contact [email protected].
Please read these terms and our Privacy Policy before creating an account or placing an order. Product-specific conditions disclosed before purchase form part of your order. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to make the purchase, or use the store with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian who takes responsibility for it. Provide accurate account and delivery information, keep your password private, and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Client accounts let you save a cart and view your own order history. Adding an item to a cart does not reserve stock, lock a price, or place an order. Do not impersonate another person, use someone else’s payment method without permission, or try to access another customer’s data. We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or protect the service. Contact us to resolve an access issue or request account closure.
2. Products and digital links
Read the item description before buying. It should identify what is included, whether the item is physical or digital, and any stated compatibility or usage restrictions. Product photographs are illustrative; screen settings can affect colour appearance. This does not excuse supplying an item that is materially different from its description.
Some product buttons open downloads, information pages, or external stores such as app or ebook marketplaces. A link by itself is not proof of ownership, a completed purchase, or a licence to redistribute the content. For a purchase made on another seller’s platform, that platform identifies the seller and controls its checkout, delivery, and refund process. Our direct-sale return policy does not replace that seller’s terms.
Digital content may be used only within the permissions described for the item or granted by its rights holder. Unless that permission allows it, do not resell, publicly redistribute, or claim ownership of someone else’s work.
3. Prices, checkout, and payment
Review the item, quantity, currency, delivery details, and full amount before authorizing payment. Any applicable taxes, shipping charges, or other fees must be disclosed before you pay. Your bank or payment provider may charge its own currency-conversion or other fees.
Where enabled, direct store payments use Stripe-hosted Checkout. You authorize the amount shown on that payment page. We do not ask you to send card numbers or security codes by email or through the contact form. A saved cart, an unpaid order reference, or returning to our website from Stripe does not by itself confirm successful payment. The store updates payment status after payment confirmation.
A transaction explicitly labelled “test” or “demo” is for testing and does not create a real purchase or entitlement to goods. Use payment-provider test information rather than real card details in test mode.
If an item is unavailable, a listing has a material error, or a payment cannot be completed, we will contact you where possible to resolve the issue. We will not substitute a different item or increase an authorized charge without your agreement. If we cannot fulfil an order we have charged, we will arrange the appropriate refund.
4. Delivery and order tracking
Give us a complete and accurate delivery address and promptly report mistakes. Contact us as soon as possible to request an address change or cancellation before dispatch; changes may no longer be possible after fulfilment begins.
Delivery estimates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise. Your account may show payment and fulfilment updates and a carrier tracking reference when available. Updates can take time to appear. Contact us if an order is late, missing, damaged, or marked delivered but not received. A carrier status does not remove any rights you have against the seller under applicable law.
Digital delivery depends on the method stated for the item. Check any device, software, account, or regional requirements before purchase. If access does not work, contact us with the order reference and a description of the issue; do not send your password.
5. Physical-item returns: 30 days
For a physical item purchased directly from Arts and Crafts, contact [email protected] within 30 days after delivery to request a change-of-mind return. The item must be unused and in its original condition, with its included parts and accessories. Include the original packaging where reasonably available.
Provide your order number, the item, and the reason for the request. We will provide return instructions and the return address. Please contact us before sending anything back; the email address is not a return shipping address.
For an ordinary change-of-mind return, you pay the return shipping cost. Keep proof of posting and use a suitable tracked service. The usual refund covers the returned item price and applicable tax paid on it. Original delivery charges are refunded where required by law, or where we agree to refund them because of our error.
6. Digital-item refunds
For digital items sold directly by Arts and Crafts, request a change-of-mind refund within 30 days after purchase if you have not downloaded or accessed the item. Tell us your order number and whether access has occurred. Requests made after downloading or accessing the item are reviewed individually; approval is not automatic.
If a digital item is faulty, cannot be accessed as promised, or is materially misdescribed, contact us for assistance and an appropriate remedy. Accessing an item does not remove legal rights relating to defects, misdescription, or other non-waivable protections. Refunds for purchases on external marketplaces must be requested through the seller or platform that took your payment.
7. Damaged, incorrect, or faulty items
Contact us promptly if an item arrives damaged, is incorrect, or does not work as described. Include your order reference and, where useful, photographs or details of the fault. We may ask reasonable questions to assess the issue and arrange an appropriate repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy required by law.
The unused-item condition and customer-paid return-shipping rule for change-of-mind returns do not limit your rights for a faulty, incorrect, or misdescribed item. Where a return is needed because of our error, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable agreed return costs, subject to applicable law. Please agree the return method with us first.
8. Refund processing and cancellations
We will explain the decision and any return or inspection steps needed for your request. Approved refunds are normally sent to the original payment method; we will agree a lawful alternative with you if that is not possible. We will confirm when a refund is initiated. Your bank or payment provider controls when it appears in your account.
You can request cancellation before an order is fulfilled. If it has already been dispatched or digital access has been provided, the relevant return or digital-refund process applies, subject to your legal cancellation rights. No wording in these terms shortens a mandatory cancellation or refund period.
9. Staff access and acceptable use
Staff tools are restricted to authorized staff using their verified staff mailbox credentials and any required two-factor authentication. A client account with a staff-looking email address does not grant staff access. Staff must protect customer information and use catalog and fulfilment tools only for legitimate store work.
Do not upload unlawful, infringing, misleading, or malicious content; attempt to bypass access controls; interfere with payments or orders; scrape private information; or disrupt the store. Upload only product images and links you are permitted to use. Product links are visible publicly and must not contain confidential credentials or private access tokens.
10. Availability, responsibility, and legal rights
We maintain the store but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, connectivity problems, or third-party failures may temporarily affect accounts, checkout, or tracking. Contact us if a technical issue affects an existing order.
We are responsible for our obligations as the seller for purchases made directly from us. Independent payment providers, carriers, and external marketplaces also have their own terms and responsibilities. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits a warranty, refund, remedy, or other protection where doing so would be unlawful.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You remain free to use any complaint, regulator, court, payment-dispute, or other remedy available under applicable law. A term that cannot lawfully be enforced does not invalidate the rest of these terms.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the store changes. The effective date appears at the top. Changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an order already placed. For help, returns, or complaints, email [email protected].
